Coach screws are specially designed, heavy duty fasteners that are best suited to fastening metal and heavy timbers. They are an incredibly versatile fastener and traditionally adopt a hex flange head with an outwardly threaded cylindrical shaft. Their special design results in reduced splitting and can be used on both soft & hardwood.
