Sawhorses & Workbenches
A sawhorse is a beam-and-leg design for holding wood planks, boards, and pipes for cutting. Plastic or metal, they are typically sold in pairs. Foldable designs make storage and transportation easy. Carrying straps are also included in some models. Some feature grooves created on beams to hold round items, thus they are called trestles. Support arms can be folded out and legs can be adjusted in height. Make and model determine maximum loads.
Working on a workbench, also called a worktable, provides a stable, sturdy base for assisting with cutting and sawing activities in workshops. Folding workbenches are ideal for smaller workspaces. Their compact design takes up less space when folded, so they're only needed when needed. Suitable for transport, they are easy to carry and move around.
