From decades of experience in the metal working industry Metabo have pooled their knowledge base into developing their new machines for finishing stainless steel. It is true to say that the finish does not just depend on the machine, but also the accessory. That is why Metabo have gone to great lengths to make sure they have the right range to work with their new machines, whether it be for processing of surfaces, pipes or weld seams, from coarse grinding through to brush effects and high-gloss polishing.
Metabo is the world leader when it comes to angle grinders. The special Metabo WE14-125 Inox angle grinder has been specifically designed for use with tough materials like stainless steel. In conjunction with the usual high Metabo quality standards, you get a machine with high torque to deal with tough metals and you get a machine with the exact right speed range to work at high productivity with your materials. Too fast and you’ll develop heat discolorations, too slow and your accessories will not perform.
If preparing, finishing or repairing pipes and tubes is the nature of your business the Metabo RBE 12-180 is the machine for you. With a 270° wrap angle the machine is particularly agile. Special VTC electronics mean you always get a smooth and consistent result. The robust Marathon Motor with 2-step gear reduction ensures you have enough power to work swiftly with confidence. A joy to use and simple to adjust.
In order to be able to sand weld seams, wood or metal in hard to reach areas you can swivel the grinding arm of the Metabo BFE 9-90 band file by up to 270°. The sleek motor casing makes handling easy during use. No tools are required to change the sanding belts - you will not lose any time.
The KNSE 12-150 fillet weld grinder is especially suited for finishing weld seams in difficult to reach areas, e.g. within banister rails or square section. Thanks to its extremely flat aluminium extension arm it reaches into restricted areas with particularly acute angles. The two-level reduced gear ensures you always have optimum material removal capability at hand. Its stainless steel flange and its arm made of aluminium ensures that the stainless steel being processed remains stainless, thus preventing cross-contamination.
The Metabo SE 12-115 burnishing machine is designed primarily for use on flat surfaces, but with the right accessories it can also be used to work on pipes. It can be used on wood and concrete, but is primarily designed for working on steel and stainless. Suited to both heavy material removal, fine finishing and polishing. Thanks to VTC speed stabilisation electronics you always have constant speed at hand for safe and consistent working control.
